Description

Cooper Flagg arrived at Duke in the fall of 2024 already carrying more hype than almost any incoming freshman in recent memory, having reclassified out of high school a year early specifically to get to college, and to the NBA, sooner. He did not just meet that expectation, he exceeded it: a consensus All-American who swept the sport's top individual honors, including the Wooden Award and the Naismith Award, while averaging 19.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.4 steals while leading the Blue Devils to a 35-4 record and a Final Four appearance. That single college season was enough to make him the presumptive No. 1 pick more than a year before the draft even happened. The Mavericks won the right to take him under improbable circumstances. At the 2025 NBA Draft, the Dallas Mavericks drafted Duke superstar Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick, a franchise that had just endured the shock of trading away Luka Doncic and was still trying to steady itself. Flagg walked into a locker room and a fan base still processing that trade, an 18-year-old asked to be the answer to a much bigger question than most rookies ever face. He answered it. Despite a Mavericks team that finished the 2025-26 season well under .500 and out of the playoffs, Flagg's individual season was one of the best a rookie has produced in decades. He finished the regular season with an average of 21 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists, and is the second-youngest ROY winner in history behind LeBron James, and he joined Michael Jordan as the only two rookies to lead their team in total points, rebounds, assists and steals since steals were first recorded in the 1973-74 season. The Rookie of the Year vote itself was tight and historic in its own right: Flagg edged his own former Duke teammate, Kon Knueppel, in what became the second-smallest margin since the current voting format began in the 2002-03 season, with the two of them becoming the first former college teammates to finish first and second in rookie scoring since UConn's Emeka Okafor and Ben Gordon in 2004-05. This card comes from the very first Bowman-branded basketball release, a 2025-26 product built to bring Bowman's long-running prospect-first identity, familiar to baseball collectors for decades, onto the hardwood for the first time. The Mojo Refractor sits inside that debut checklist as a Chrome parallel of Flagg's rookie card, issued the year he was both the No. 1 overall pick and the league's Rookie of the Year. It is a rookie card in the fullest sense: first Bowman basketball card, first NBA season, and a season that already stands out statistically among anything a teenager has done in the league.

About 600 graded copies (estimated) across the grading companies — high population. Unlike the colored Mojo Refractors (Blue /150, Aqua /125, Navy /175, Burgundy /275), the plain Mojo Refractor carries no serial number, so many more were pulled and a large share have already been sent to grading given Flagg mania, though TFG's own slice of that population is a small fraction next to PSA and CGC su
